Genuine BAITZ young girl doll, in traditional costume.
Only one owner since new in the early 1960s.
Great condition -- examine the images as closely as you like.  Amazing detail: the blonde pigtail braids, black felt hat and slippers, white stockings and slip, black skirt, yellow apron with flowers, purple bodice with orange edging, lace sleeves and collar.
Best of all is that expressive face and mouth -- is she whistling?
On the back of the "BAITZ" tag is printed "Ötztal", the name of a town in Austria, and also "Made in Austria".
