Artist Lisbeth Lind 6.5" Tagged "Amager" Tourist Cloth Doll Denmark 1970s-80s

Description

This lovely cloth doll dressed in provincial costuming representing "Amager" island was handcrafted by doll artist Lisbeth Lind in Copenhagen, Denmark, circa the 1970's-1980's, possibly earlier.  She measures approximately 6 1/2" in height and remains in  clean and bright condition.
Her sweet nylon stockinette face is simply drawn in color with a pleasant expression.
Her body is fashioned from stuffed cloth over wire armature so she can somewhat pose.
"Amager" woman's outfit is ornately detailed with ribbon, glossy satin and embroidery.
Her black shoes with painted silver buckles are carved from wood.  They, more notably their tops, sustain scotch tape sticky residue and may need cleaning.  She is perfectly sized for a doll house setting!  No bad odors--
