These eggs are collected daily and may include purebred chickens but also include mixed breed ‘Rainbow Layers’ - Olive eggers - Ayam Cemani - Silkies - Satins - Cochins - blue black and splash copper marans - golden sex link - barred rocks - Wyandotte’s (partridge laced bantam show stock) and silver laced large fowl - these eggs will be MIXED.
Generally these eggs may be mostly tan in color on arrival as they are the ‘leftovers’ after I fill orders for the fancy colored eggs BUT the birds hatched from these eggs have the genetics to lay a beautiful rainbow of colors including the coveted DARK Marans type egg variations. IT WILL DEPEND ON THE WEEK you have as much of a chance of getting beautiful full spectrum rainbow eggs as blah eggs - but no matter - ALL eggs hatched will introduce color genetics to your flock! These eggs are covered mostly by Marans Roosters and Blue egg laying roosters which are only kept out of my richest eggs and the roosters 🐓 play a large part in the eggs color of his daughters. These eggs are discounted only because people want ‘pretty’ eggs and these eggs are mostly common colors. These eggs CONTAIN Birds that have the genetics for pretty eggs and have fun barnyard mix breeds and may even contain pure breeds. No matter what the birds will be beautiful and productive :)
